I started work on our family history so that my grandchildren will have a 
sense of their place in the world.  My family might say that I am obsessed! 
They are however interested in my findings and since we have managed to breach 
some of the brick walls in his Irish family, my husband is also keen!
This tree includes both our families but does not follow the lines of those 
who married into the dynasty!
Both my parents are from the Midlands as are those who went before them.  The 
only exception was my great-grandmother Emily Stride who hailed from Hampshire.
Bob's family are predominantly Irish, although his mother's family - the 
Jacksons originated in Warwickshire and ended up all over the world.
I hope that you will find something of interest on this site and that if you 
find any connection with your own family you will contact me.
